This secluded self catering holiday cottage has been renovated throughout and sleeps up to 4 people.

The sitting room and dining room look out onto the cottage's private garden, and at the back to gardens, fields and woodland threaded by a stream.

The sitting room has two settees, an easy chair, a television and DVD player. The original fireplace with 'crane' for a kettle is a prominent feature. The kitchen provides more modern cooking facilities - including a full-size gas cooker and microwave. The alcove to the right of the fireplace was once used in hat making.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a 5-foot double bed and one with twin beds. Hatter's Cottage sleeps up to 4 adults.

The bedrooms have views across tree-studded farmland to the central Lake District mountains.

First Floor:

Two bedrooms with views of fields and mountains
Bedroom one with 5-foot double bed
Bedroom two with twin beds
Shower room with WC & washbasin

Garden:

The cottage's front door opens onto the peaceful leafy private garden. The patio beside the front door faces south making it a good place for a barbecue or to take off your boots and relax in the sunshine.

Automatic washing machine in the outhouse.
